Dataset upload
Some important things to keep in mind while uploading data:
- Scata will reverese-complement sequences in order to make sure that the 5' primer is found in the 5' end
- If you give both 5' and 3' primer, any sequence where one of the primers cannot be found will be discarded
- Scata does not yet understand degenrations in the priming sites. If you have degenerated bases, please lower the matching threshold to account for this, as N, R, Y etc does not match any base.
- Scata takes priming site sequences, not the primer sequence.
- Make sure you understand your Quality scores, and adjust the parameters accordingly. The defaults should work ok with new 454 data.
