How to Login How do I login to the cluster?

To login, open either Terminal (Mac) or Putty (PC)

Terminal (Mac/Linux?):

In a new terminal write this: ssh -Y username@…

Putty (Windows):

In the field "Host name" write this: my-mgrid.mykopat.slu.se Then click on the Open button at the bottom.

A command windows will open and you will be asked for your user name then password. When you enter it you will not see any characters come up on the screen. Hit enter after your done typing.

Remember your username is the same as your AD account . You will be prompted for your password, just enter your AD password.

Once you have logged in you will see that your in your Home folder - the prompt will look like this: les@my-mgrid:~$ Notice the server name before the prompt
